Website and Monthly Marketing Packages: What Should Be Included?
Compare website setup, monthly content, ad management, and ongoing support before choosing a marketing package for your small business.
A website-and-marketing package should make it clear what gets built once, what happens every month, and which expenses remain separate. A discounted website is useful only if the monthly service fits how your business actually operates.
Before comparing prices, write down the result you need: a better place to send inquiries, consistent social posts, help running ads, or someone to keep website information current. These are related jobs, but they are not interchangeable.
Separate website setup from monthly work
Website setup is a project. It needs an agreed scope, content, a review process, and a launch. Monthly marketing is ongoing work: planning content, writing captions, preparing supplied assets, managing agreed campaigns, and reviewing what to do next.
Ask whether the quote covers a standard business website, a store, a booking system, or a custom application. A small service website and a tool with customer logins should not be assumed to have the same scope.
How Royal Studios prices this combination
As of September 2026, Royal Studios offers a new standard business website for $1,000 in setup fees when you start a monthly marketing plan. The usual standalone website starting price is $2,000. Marketing plans begin at $700 per month, with scope agreed before work starts.
Plans are month to month, with no long-term contract or cancellation penalty. Hosting, domains, paid tools, and advertising spend are separate expenses. Check the current pricing page for the full scope and any later changes.
Those distinctions matter. An ad management service is the work involved in planning and managing a campaign; ad spend is the money paid to the advertising platform to run it.
Match website support to how often things change
If your hours, offers, events, menu, or seasonal services change often, ask who will update the site after launch. A website can become confusing when a social post promotes one offer and the landing page still shows another.
At Royal Studios, Growth and Partner plans include ongoing website support. Social Essentials does not include the same ongoing website support allowance. Support covers the stated content updates; a redesign or new development is scoped separately.
For a business that mostly needs consistent posting, the entry plan may be a better fit. For a business with frequent promotions and website updates, combining those responsibilities can reduce the number of handoffs.
Know what you need to supply
A useful package still needs input from the business. Agree on who supplies photographs and video, approves captions, confirms prices, and answers incoming leads. Do not assume content management includes an on-site photo shoot.
Create a short shared list of upcoming promotions, available assets, approval contacts, and details that must be checked before posting. That list helps avoid last-minute requests and prevents outdated offers from going live.
Questions to ask before signing up
- What is the website scope, and what would cost extra?
- How many posts or campaigns are included?
- Who supplies photos, video, and business updates?
- What website changes are included each month?
- What is billed by the studio versus a third-party platform?
- Who owns the domain, content, and accounts?
